![]() Hiberfile.sys taking up lots of space on small SSDs.Applications not closing when "shutting down" (this creates an issue with our ERP).This is a lot of it, but we've also had some technical issues/concerns: It would be like a car manufacturer switching the gas peddle and the break position in your car and then claiming it works as designed while ignore all the issues they caused. Worse yet it still says its doing A while it does Z in the background ![]() While yes they published this in a corner of their documentation end users don't see or read this documentation and by changing the meaning of A they have caused no end of issues with end users and computers not behaving as expected, ss every windows user has been conditioned \ trained to expect it to behave as A for the last 30 years and now it does Z. Its not that the feature doesn't work its that they MS took something that means A then changed the meaning to mean Z Otherwise, what problems are you guys seeing with it? Is it just the "time since last reboot" metric? The last problem I had with it was related to the NumLock function not turning on at startup, and that was with Windows 8.1. ![]() ![]() Wow, I'm honestly amazed at how salty everyone is about Fast Startup! Did it ever cause me headaches? Sure, but years ago.
